Since she started singing in the church choir at the age of 8, she have trained and used her voice in several bands and explored genres like Pop, Rock Jazz, Country, Funk and Blues, and since the age of 17 she has been a dedicated Lead and backing vocalist on live Gigs in mainly Copenhagen Denmark and even Greenland. 

Maria teaches solo singers and choir, working with kids at primary school, and she directs a choir for elderly people with COPD . Growing up with a Swedish father and a Danish mother listening to both Abba and Gasolin, she was also influenced by the American Toto and Eagles and the British Queen and of course David Bowie -whose influence on Maria was awakened by the mysterious Ashes to ashes – Fame and Catpeople and she loves songs like Space Oddity Heroes and Starman.
