Vibeke Moos Kühle

Vibeke Moos Kühle is the backing vocalist of the BOWIE tribute lineup. She’s been singing since the age of 9 when she first joined a classical choir at the local church. She joined her first pop-rock band when she was 23 years old. From then on, she’s been exploring many different genres through pop-rock bands, gospel (Kefas choir, Just Us and Mercy bands), jazz, flamenco and Bulgarian choir music (Usmifka).

She especially enjoys working with other singers to create beautiful harmonies – sometimes in a cappella contexts with the barbershop groups Satin Dolls and Side by Side. Since 2022, she’s developed a passion for performing in musicals on the amateur stage where she discovered that she has a knack for acting.

Vibeke’s first meeting with David Bowie’s music may have been his unforgettable guest appearance in the movie Christiane F from 1981 where he performs Station to Station. Both the music and artist were so cool! The title music from Cat People sung by Bowie also left an impression. Later on, especially Bowie’s album Scary Monsters was on repeat. But hey, he’s been writing great music spanning over many decades. Just listen for yourself!
